Shaelynn graduated from Red River College in 2018 with a diploma in Veterinary Technology. She first started her career working at a mixed animal practice where she gained experience in large animal medicine. Shortly after that, she joined our team in the spring of 2019. Shaelynn has a strong passion for surgery and anesthesia, which drove her to take a year leave from Plessis to work alongside a board certified surgeon. During that time she gained valuable expertise as an orthopedic surgical assistant. In addition to her professional work, she enjoys an active lifestyle, regularly going to the gym, walking her dog Macie, and competing in barrel racing with her horse Price. Outside of work and her hobbies, she can often be found reading, savouring specialty coffee, or spending time outside.
